CBi Progress Report provides an overview of the achievements of CBi in 2019 as well as the results of the CBi Annual Survey.

Some highlights of 2019 achievements:

• 19 business networks were engaged and supported by the CBi Secretariat
• 9 CBi Member Networks and their partners addressed a total of 31 crises
• CBi Member Networks organized 93 local events and trainings in 2019
• Over 35 million people were reached through media coverage

Some highlights from the Annual Survey:

• Over 90% of the CBi Member Networks said CBi successfully raised awareness of and advocated for the role of the private sector in disaster management.
• 73% of the CBi Member Networks said CBi has positively influenced their efforts to address disaster management, further 27% said CBi has moderately influenced their efforts.
• Over 80% of the CBi Member Networks find that CBi helps them connect and coordinate well or very well with actors in disaster management.
