Through the establishment of the Gender Justice Platform, UNDP and UN Women have joined forces to contribute to closing the global gender justice gap. The platform promotes women’s full enjoyment of their rights and their meaningful participation, including in leadership, decision-making and peacebuilding roles, as essential components of building social and political trust and enabling safe and resilient societies.

This annual report takes stock of the Platform’s achievements in 2023 as a catalyst and an influencer of transformative change in the advancement of gender equality through the promotion of rule of law, human rights and gender-responsive justice and security programming.
