Office for eGovernment and UNDP invite all interested parties to attend the meeting of the Open Data Working Group, on Tuesday December 17, 2019, at 10 am, in Nova Iskra – Dorcol, Cara Urosa street, number 18, in Belgrade.
The Open Data Working Group (ODWG) gathers the representatives of the public sector and civil society, tech community and academia, and it was established in 2016. The ODWG gathers quarterly with a goal to exchange information and create plans for open data release and reuse in the Republic of Serbia. Through the project “Open Data – Open Opportunities”, which UNDP and Office for IT implement from October 2017, with the support of the UK Good Governance Fund and the World Bank, numerous results are achieved when it comes to open data ecosystem building. With the launch of the Open Data Portal (data.gov.rs), in 2017. we’ve established the infrastructure for open data release and communication with the open data community, and in 2018, with the adoption of the Law on eGovernment, legal framework for open data release and reuse is established.
On Tuesday, December 17, we will present results of the “Open Data – Open Opportunities” project up to date, results of the supported community activities (grants and challenges), and future plans.
In order to secure your place, please RSVP until Friday, December 13, 2019, via registration link.
