Abdurhman Albasir holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc from the University of Waterloo in Canada, with a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Tripoli. With over eight years in data science, he has focused on telecommunications, industrial IoT, IoT security, and academia, contributing to both scholarly publications and industry projects in Canada, Libya, and the UAE. Currently, as the Head of Experimentation at UNDP's Accelerator Lab in Libya, Abdurhman advocates for innovative technological solutions to drive sustainable development, leveraging advanced data-driven technologies to enhance the effectiveness of development initiatives in the region.
