To develop this policy brief, the national regulatory framework and strategic documents of Turkmenistan were examined in detail for the possibility of integrating climate risks and adaptation options. As a result, a list of recommendations for improving legislation and policies, as well as a plan for the implementation of these recommendations, is proposed. The implementation plan outlines a structured approach to integrating climate risks into Turkmenistan's water management policies and legislation.
