2020 was a challenging year but also a year of great triumphs. While the COVID-19 pandemic brought with it an unprecedented humanitarian and development crisis, it also created new opportunities, from digital innovations to a renewed discourse around industrialization and resilient livelihoods. As a development partner of choice, UNDP supported government to prepare, respond and recover from the effects of COVID-19 in a robust manner. In so doing, UNDP has shown that we can respond quickly, efficiently and deliver transformative results to protect the most vulnerable. This compilation highlights some of our major accomplishments and milestones in Uganda throughout 2020.
