The Low-Value Grants Programme (hereinafter – the Programme) is an initiative under the "Strengthening the Rule of Law and Human Rights Protection in Uzbekistan" project, implemented jointly by UNDP in Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with financial support from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
As a result of the 2025 Programme, 5 civil society organizations (CSOs) have been selected to receive small grants aimed at strengthening their efforts in promoting human rights, gender equality, and access to free legal aid for vulnerable groups in Uzbekistan. The selection process was based on a comprehensive evaluation of submitted proposals, assessing their alignment with the Programme’s objectives, potential impact, and the organizational capacity of the applicants to successfully implement their projects.
This year, 51 NGOs from across 13 regions, including Tashkent city and the Republic of Karakalpakstan, applied for the grants. Following a rigorous review by the Selection Committee, the following NGOs were awarded grants to implement their initiatives in 2025:

These low-value grants provide essential financial support to CSOs, enabling them to implement impactful projects that address the legal needs of vulnerable groups, enhance access to justice, and empower marginalized communities. The funded initiatives will include activities such as awareness-raising campaigns, legal assistance, capacity-building programs, advocacy efforts, and community outreach.
By supporting civil society organizations, the Programme reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the rule of law, human rights protection, and inclusive development in Uzbekistan. The selected organizations will have the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders and drive meaningful social change in their respective fields.
