Climate information services are a key input for farmers’ decision-making about adaptation to climate change. The lack of timely and actionable climate-informed agricultural advice leads to significant input and yield losses, which can render investments in farming unprofitable. 

Providing climate information services to the most vulnerable groups of the community is one way of building their resilience. Therefore, UNDP with the financial support of the EU and with cooperation with Uzhydromet published a monthly agro-climatic bulletin as part of the early warning mechanism as a communication and information tool to improve farmers decision-making. 

The first issue highlights information throughout July-August 2023 and date has been collected from field, Uzhydromet, and satellite pictures.
