Climate change-related information is a key input for farmers’ decision-making about adaptation to climate change. Providing relevant information is one method of building resilience of local communities to climate change.

Therefore, UNDP with the financial support of the  European Union and with cooperation with the Agency of hydrometeorology under the Ministry of ecology, environmental protection, and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzhydromet), published the second agrometeorological bulletin, which highlights information throughout September-October 2023.

The bulletin contains information on the climatic conditions of the Fergana Valley, data from the fields, Uzhydromet observations and satellite images, as well as agricultural recommendations. This tool will help farmers make more informed decisions and adapt their activities to climate change, contributing to building agricultural sustainability in the region.
