The study aims at promoting electric vehicle charging station infrastructure development through developing principles, principles, and technical requirements for planning electric vehicle charging stations. The study also assesses power demand and the impact of charging stations on the grid, as well as financial mechanisms to promote investment in charging stations in Viet Nam. This aims to outline a strategic vision and incentives to attract private funding for building out nationwide charging along national highways and expressways. The end goal is facilitating sustainable EV adoption by establishing enabling conditions for widespread, user-friendly charging options.
