This report reflects the results of the analysis of the wheat value chain in Al-Qatn and Tarim Districts, Hadhramaut Governorate, Yemen, in 2022. It was implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Yemen with the Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service (SMEPS) in March 2022 and funded by the European Union (EU).

This value chain analysis consists of many activities: The desk review includes previous studies and statistics, primary sources collected from the field, and several actors and players in the chain since many workshops and interviews were conducted for chain players and stakeholders in Al-Qatn and Tarim District. These entities and players in the chain included a group of producers, consumers, traders, companies, supporters, and enablers dealing in the wheat sector.
