Publication of the 10th edition of “Trust in Governance”, annual public opinion poll in Albania

The annual Trust in Governance Opinion Poll with the first organized in 2013, presents its milestone tenth edition. The 2022 report encapsulates an overview of significant trends that have emerged across years and examines the findings from the year.

The Trust in Governance Opinion Poll explores public perceptions and attitudes on issues such as trust in public institutions transparency and accountability of public institutions, prevalence of corruption, level of citizen engagement in policy and decision-making, satisfaction with public-service delivery and enforcement of non-discriminatory laws and policies. It generates data that can be utilized to enhance major reforms related to good governance, anti-corruption, the judiciary and cross-cutting issues such as gender equality and social inclusion.

The opinion poll is conducted by the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM). Since 2020, it is funded in in the framework of the donor pool fund project “Consolidation of Citizen Centric Public Service Delivery in Albania” (CSDA) implemented by the Government of Albania in partnership with UNDP, and with Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) as key contributor, together with UNDP.

Sondazhi vjetor i Opinionit Publik të Besimit në Qeverisje, i kryer për herë të parë në vitin 2013, paraqet edicionin e tij të dhjetë. Raporti i vitit 2022 përmban një përmbledhje të tendencave të rëndësishme që janë shfaqur përgjatë viteve dhe analizon gjetjet e këtij viti.

Sondazhi i Opinionit të Besimit në Qeverisje eksploron perceptimet dhe qëndrimet publike për çështje të tilla si besimi në institucionet publike, transparenca dhe llogaridhënia e institucioneve publike, përhapja e korrupsionit, niveli i angazhimit të qytetarëve në politikë dhe vendimmarrje, kënaqshmëria me ofrimin e shërbimeve publike dhe zbatimi i ligjeve dhe politikave jodiskriminuese. Ai siguron të dhëna që mund të përdoren për të përmirësuar reformat kryesore në lidhje me qeverisjen e mirë, antikorrupsionin, reformën në gjyqësor dhe çështjet ndërsektoriale si barazia gjinore dhe përfshirja sociale.  

Sondazhi zhvillohet nga Instituti për Demokraci dhe Ndërmjetësim (IDM). Që nga viti 2020, financohet në kuadrin e projektit të fondeve të grupit të donatorëve "Konsolidimi i Ofrimit të Shërbimeve Publike të Përqendruara me Qytetarin në Shqipëri" (CSDA) zbatuar nga Qeveria e Shqipërisë në partneritet me PNUD dhe me Bashkëpunimin Austriak për Zhvillim (ADC) si kyç kontribuues, së bashku me UNDP-në.
