Thailand's National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights was initiated by the Royal Thai Government to implement the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the State duty to protect against business-related human rights abuses. After setting the gears in motion, it took thorough background work and a series of consultations for Asia's first NAP to be published in 2019.
