On the occasion of International Women’s Day
Digital Art Competition
UNDP and The Embassy of Canada invite you to submit your artwork that celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of inspiring women around the world, or art pieces that highlight the barriers, inequalities, and limitations facing women’s economic participation, rights and roles in Lebanon.
Through your art:
- Advocate for women’s economic empowerment
- Raise awareness on gender parities
- Capture gender-based challenges
- Generate a conversation about the changes needed to achieve a more equal world
- Celebrate women’s achievements across the world
All women are welcome to submit their digital artwork in the form of illustrations, collages, calligraphy, photography, short animations... etc.
The selected artwork will be published on the UNDP website and will be evaluated by a Jury of professionals in the field of development, gender, and arts.
Four (4) art pieces will be selected on the basis of concept strength, originality, and innovative impact.
The winners will receive personalized in-kind support worth up to 2,000 USD to enhance their creative skills/tools

On March 11, 2022, the artists will be invited to a get-together to present a summary of their art in front of the jury and receive their certificates of participation and prizes, all while maintaining the necessary COVID-19 preventive measures.
