This report analyzes the impact of climate change on vulnerable groups in the Republic of Moldova, with a focusing women, children, older people, persons with disabilities, and other socio-economically disadvantaged groups.
The aim is to identify specific risks and propose adaptation measures to enhance the resilience of these groups in the context of climate change. The report underscores the importance of addressing social and economic inequalities in this context and suggests concrete measures to support vulnerable groups.
By implementing these recommendations, the Republic of Moldova can strengthen its resilience to climate change and ensure a more equitable and sustainable future for all its citizens. The findings and recommendations provide a roadmap for enhancing resilience, promoting social equity, and ensuring that climate adaptation efforts are inclusive and effective.
