This video shows how support from the Government of China, channelled through Mozambique Recovery Facility programme, is improving the living conditions of internally displaced people in Cabo Delgado province, including some specific vulnerable groups, through the provision of household utensils, emergency kits and various equipment.
The project focus on immediate needs of responding to COVID-19 including the provision of COVID-19 protection means, essential households tools, family emergency kits and shelter packages.
The proposed project interventions contribute to UNDP’s global vision and approach of helping to achieve the 2030 Agenda and are coherent with China’s policy of engagement in international development as well as Mozambique’s development priorities.
The proposed project aims to support China's contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through South-South cooperation and experience sharing.
The project will support relocation sites in the Cabo Delgado Province, including Ancuabe and Metuge districts and surrounding communities (Nangumi, Nanjua B relocation sites in Ancuabe district) and in the district of Metuge (Ngalane and Ntocota relocation sites).
