The integrated Master Plan for the Development of Mountain Mtirala and Village Korolistavi marks a significant milestone in fostering ecotourism and sustainable management, while also seizing income generation opportunities. 

Emphasizing the utmost importance of aligning visitor flow and behaviour with the preservation objectives set for the National Park, the Plan strives to strike a balance between conservation and visitation. The document is designed to help the Government of Ajara Autonomous Republic ensure the long-term sustainability of the area for the enjoyment of both visitors and locals.

The document was prepared with assistance from the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under the EU Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD).
