The African Business and Human Rights Forum is an annual event bringing together stakeholders from across Africa to facilitate discussion and exchange on how to advance, prevent, mitigate and remediate business-related human rights abuses in the region. Under the theme For Africa, from Africa, this year the forum will reflect on the importance of local perspectives and solutions in the collective effort to implement the UNGPs in Africa, including linkages between the UNGPs and the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA). Convened by the African Union, in partnership with OHCHR, UNDP, UNICEF and the UN Working Group on business and human rights, it will focus on African experiences and challenges related to business and human rights and seek to generate innovative solutions tailored to the continent's unique context.
