(IM)PACT FOR THE FUTURE

At the Summit of the Future on 22 September 2024, world leaders adopted a Pact for the Future that includes a Global Digital Compact and a Declaration on Future Generations. This Pact is the culmination of a years-long process to adapt international cooperation to the realities of today and the challenges of tomorrow.

The Summit of the Future is a once-in-a-generation opportunity and serves as a moment to mend trust and demonstrate that international cooperation can effectively tackle current challenges as well as those that have emerged in recent years or may yet be over the horizon. The Summit of the Future was held on September 22 and 23, 2024, at the UN Headquarters in New York.

SDG Acceleration Agenda

The SDG Digital Acceleration Agenda highlights 34 digital solutions which are helping to advance the SDGs. They emphasize people-centred, collaborative and scalable approaches. Recognizing the need for holistic digital transformation, the Agenda introduces ‘Digital Transformation Enablers,' which are intended to inform national governments about the power and potential of digital technologies and data.
