LocationsEU and UNDP to provide support for business development on both banks of the Nistru River

Valeria Zelinscaia turned her passion into a business with the help of the EU's Confidence Building Measures Programme, implemented by UNDP.
The European Union, through the Confidence Building Measures Programme implemented by UNDP, will provide assistance to support entrepreneurs on both banks of the Nistru. The support is dedicated to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
The amount of assistance offered by the EU Confidence Building Measures Programme implemented by UNDP is up to US$20,000 for each of the 20 selected initiatives. The 20 entrepreneurs will benefit from equipment, services, mentoring, consultancy and study visits to launch or expand their business. The support will help create decent jobs on both banks of the Nistru.
Project proposals can be submitted until 24 June 2024, 1 p.m. The conditions for participation in the competition, as well as the criteria for the evaluation of project proposals are available on this link https://sc.undp.md/tnddetails2/2880/
The online information session, where potential candidates will be able to ask questions about how to submit their files and the application form, will take place on 13 June 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

At both information sessions there will be an option for remote participation.
During 2019-2023, 39 entrepreneurs from both banks of the Nistru River were supported. Thus, the European Union and UNDP continue their support for the development of MSMEs on both banks of the Nistru River. The Confidence Building Measures Programme, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP, contributes to building trust between the inhabitants of both banks of the Nistru River by involving them in joint development projects.
