Disclosure of Social & Environmental Standards (SES) Reports for the NamiGreen project
March 4, 2025
In alignment with UNDP’s Social and Environmental Standards (SES), stakeholder engagement is a key priority to ensure transparency, inclusivity, and meaningful participation in decision-making processes. These standards form an integral part of the Social and Environmental Management System Requirements, as outlined by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The SES play a critical role in UNDP’s quality assurance and risk management approach, ensuring that programs adhere to best practices in environmental and social sustainability. To uphold these principles, the following reports are publicly available for review:
- Draft Gender Assessment and Action Plan
- Stakeholder Engagement Plan
- UNDP Social and Environmental Screening Report
- Draft Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF)
These documents will be disclosed for a 120-day period, allowing all key stakeholders sufficient time to review and provide feedback.
