Gender and Corruption in the Albanian Civil Service
February 19, 2015
Gender and corruption in the Albanian Civil Service research report is a result of the joint efforts of UNDP in Albania and the UNDP Europe and CIS Regional Hub. It addresses the issue of gender and corruption in the civil service to help Albania and other countries in the region in their way towards more transparent civil services. The research attempts to address two main questions:
1. How do male and female civil service employees perceive and experience transparency, accountability and corruption in the workplace?
2. What are the differential impacts of a lack of transparency and corruption on the recruitment and career development of male and female civil service employees?
