This report examines Albanian’s progress towards policy development to report to “Thirteenth Meeting of Conference of the Parties and Concurrent Meetings of the Cartagena and Nagoya Protocols” and to “Thirteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity”. The Cancun Declaration expresses the commitments of the countries party to the Convention on Biological Diversity, in recalling that the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development allows them to address the challenges faced by humanity in a transformative manner in environmental, economic and social terms. The  declaration was approved in Cancun, Mexico in December, 2016.
