This publication is an information brochure that describes the current state of the ambient air quality in Georgia, the main sources of pollution and pollutants, and the current and ongoing policies of the government to improve air quality. The publication also provides tips and recommendations for reducing air pollution and protecting yourself from polluted air.

The publication was prepared by the Environmental Information and Education Centre of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia with assistance from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Sweden.
