Georgia’s National Greenhouse Gas Inventory Report 1990-2017

The present document describes the results of the sixth national inventory of greenhouse gases from 1990 through 2017.
The report reviews the direct gases stipulated under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change: Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Nitrous Oxide (N2O), Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), Perfluorocarbons (PFCs), Sulphur Hexafluoride (SF6), and indirect greenhouse gases, such as Nitrogen Oxides (NOX), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Non-Methane Volatile Organic Compounds (NMVOCs) as well as Sulphur Dioxide (SO2).
The document was prepared by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia with the support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) within the framework of the project "Fourth National Communication and Second Biennial Update Report to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change".
