Plastic pollution is perhaps one of the most significant environmental concerns across the Pacific region. Recently, Pacific leaders noted that the challenge of plastic pollution is equivalent in impact to the challenge posed by climate change. This technical note provides an overview of the challenges and opportunities for plastic substitutes in the Pacific Region.
