MANILA - The Innovation for Social Impact Partnership (ISIP) is proud to announce the launch of Social Impact Accelerator. The ISIP Social Impact Accelerator is a 6-month gender smart capacity-building program specifically designed for social enterprises in the Philippines that are tackling some of the most pressing problems in the country.

The accelerator is an intensive program for impact-driven enterprises to strengthen their business models, deepen their impact, and get investment-ready. The objective of the program is to empower entrepreneurs to level up their business models, measure and expand their impact, and prepare to raise investments and connect them to market partners and follow-on funding.  

Selected social enterprise founders get a chance to be awarded a contract of up to PHP 140,000 to grow their business and advance the SDGs.

The ISIP Social Impact Accelerator will run from September 2022 to March 2023 with a cohort of 10 social impact entrepreneurs. It is divided into 3 phases - Build, Grow, and Scale, each dedicated to fortifying the entrepreneurs’ financial acumen, providing them with tools, resources, and connections to build their business model, and catalyzing funding through traditional and progressive financial institutions and investors who are open to embracing gender equality. 

The program intends to support social entrepreneurs operating and/or creating impact in the BARMM and broader Mindanao. The ISIP Social Impact Accelerator has a special focus on growth and investment readiness, with an explicit mission to increase financial access for women-led and underrepresented entrepreneurs by augmenting perceptions and increasing the financial discipline of the enterprises.
