Legal framework

Funding and delivery

In order to achieve its mandate, UNDP relies entirely on voluntary contributions from UN Member States, multilateral organizations, private sector and other sources, in the form of unrestricted regular resources (core), and contributions earmarked for a specific theme, programme or project.

Partnership

Partnerships are at the core of everything we do to support Serbia on its path towards the Sustainable Development Goals. UNDP in Serbia is partnering with the Government of Serbia and local governments, development partners, UN agencies, private sector and civil society - to find, design and implement new and innovative solutions for complex national and global challenges. We are grateful to all our partners for their continued trust and support.

UNDP Serbia and the UN

The UN Country Team in Serbia operates under 5-year strategic framework called UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) signed with the Government of Serbia in February 2022. The current UNSDCF covers the period from 2021 to 2025.

Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

Our Focus
