September 27, 2024

Digital competencies play a critical role for young people, not only in their ability to use technology, but also in their ability to be competitive in the business world and increase job opportunities. These competencies enable young people to succeed both individually and professionally and help them shape their future careers.

The European Union funded “Today’s Youth Future Jobs Project” is being implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in cooperation with the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (UMT) as the end beneficiary. The project aims to improve the skills of young people on digitalization and innovation to enable them to play an active role in technological developments and thus contribute to the economy.

Within the scope of the project, “Today’s Youth Future Jobs Situation and Needs Analysis Survey” was conducted to understand the current situation, perceptions and needs of young people towards digital skills, identify examples of good practices and increase the impact of the project.

Six reports were published within the context of the survey: Perception Analysis, Situation Analysis, Mapping Analysis, Needs Assessment, Gap Analysis, Good Practices and Roadmap reports.
