This report reflects the results of the analysis of the Henna value chain in Ghail Bawazeer District, Hadhramaut Governorate, Yemen, in 2022. It was implemented in 2022 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as a part of SIERY project, funded by the European Union (EU), through the Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service (SMEPS).

This value chain analysis consists of several activities, namely the desk study: Previous studies and statistics, primary data collected from the field, and several actors and players in the chain, as many workshops and interviews were conducted for chain players and stakeholders in Ghayl Ba Wazir District. These entities and players in the chain included a group of producers, consumers, traders, companies, supporters, and enablers that deal in the henna sector.
