This document offers a detailed overview of innovations in effective local governance, highlighting the crucial role of local governments as spaces for experimentation of new public policies and implementations.

With 80% of the population living in urban areas in Latin America and the Caribbean, local governance and localized interpretation of the 2030 Agenda are necessary actions in the medium and long term. This report presents a database with a wide range of experiences and a constantly evolving mapping of the efforts deployed to promote sustainable development and comply with the 2030 Agenda.
