By the end of June 2020, the Iraqi Ministry of Health (MOH) had confirmed 49,109 cases of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), with 1,943 fatalities and 24,760 patients who had recovered. The outbreak and continued spread of COVID-19 have had an impact on the implementation of projects under the Funding Facility for Stabilization (FFS). The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) adapted its programming to support the Government of Iraq's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and, in parallel, resumed the rehabilitation of basic infrastructure activities on 23 April 2020 as requested and approved by the relevant authorities.

This report provides an overview of FFS activities during the second quarter of 2020 (1 April to 30 June).
