UNDP has supported the Departments of Community Development, established at the municipality level, in setting-up Peacebuilding Committees to develop local peacebuilding development plans in a total of nine municipalities, As part of the Local Peacebuilding and Resilience Programme South, UNDP supports the implementation of identified priorities of six peacebuilding local development plan, including Brak Ashati, Murzuq, Kufra, Sharguiya, Bint Baya and Gurda Ahsati. The Peacebuilding Committees will be actively engaged in implementing and monitoring these schemes. 

UNDP seeks a Responsible Party (National or International NGO or Association/Consortium of NGOs) to support the implementation of peacebuilding local development priorities across six (6) municipalities of Brak Ashati, Murzuq, Kufra, Sharguiya, Bint Baya, and Gurda Ahsati in Libya This project is funded in parts by the European Union (EU), for the municipalities of Brak Ashati, Murzuq, and Kufra, and in parts by the Government of Norway, for the municipalities of Sharguiya, Bint Baya and Gurda Ahsati.

Duration and Budget 
The project will last seven (7) months. The applying organizations are requested to submit a clear and detailed work plan for each output/deliverable and the budget within the foreseen timeframe, and the overall indicative grant pool amount made available under this Call for Proposal is USD 363,360.
