Web accessibility for people with disabilities in Georgia

This publication assesses the situation regarding web accessibility for persons with disabilities in Georgia, summarizes the best international practice and provides respective recommendations.
The study revealed that websites of the most public and private organizations in Georgia do not meet international standards and have the potential for improvement in accordance with the requirements of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). In light of the findings of the study, the recommendations were made to promote the implementation of the CRPD and improve web accessibility for PwDs.
