Similarly, together with the Judiciary , we have supported the implementation of the institutional Strategic Plan "Vision Justice 20-24" , being able to highlight important advances to guarantee inclusive justice. During and after the COVID-19 pandemic, we supported the facilitation of Access to justice for thousands of citizens with the provision of virtual platforms and tools, which included the technological equipment of more than 800 judicial employees (judges, administrative and jurisdictional staff), enabling access to hearings, and enabling the reception of files digitally.
These efforts also involved the digital conversion of files. As of April this year, we have 21 million digitized pages (210,774 files), which are used through the Judicial Branch's one-stop service window in order to streamline the processing of justice services.
In the Vision 2024 Plan – developed through a collaborative construction process within our institution – the Dominican Judiciary set the horizon of inclusive justice, people-centered services, and the strategy of innovation and digital transformation that today materialized in the Digital Media Law of the Judiciary. Today, the Dominican Judiciary is evaluating the results achieved in that first planning phase and designing the new planning phase by scenarios.
