To ensure that the new Country Programme Document (CPD) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) aligns with all of the national strategic plans identifying youth as one of the core pillars for development, the UNDP initiated a youth boot camp consultation to gather insights from this particular demographic group. The boot camp brought together youth from various backgrounds across the country to discuss and share their stories, development problems, and challenges they have faced or are facing and observing in their communities, as well as their vision and development priorities for Cambodia in the future. Youth perspectives will inform the formulation of the UNDP Cambodia Country Programme 2024-2028 and the corresponding future portfolios of interventions.
