Policy Briefs of Assessment on Migration Policy Gaps at the Sub-National Level

UNDP Indonesia in collaboration with Serikat Buruh Migran Indonesia (SBMI) have identified the policy gaps on migration based on evidence-based data and analyzed the capacity gaps in migration governance in the 6 targeted areas at sub-national level: South Sulawesi Province (Makassar and Maros), Central Java Province (Semarang and Grobogan), and West Nusa Tenggara Province (East Lombok and Mataram). The policy brief summarized the key findings and recommendations regarding the protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers from the legal protection, gender analysis, and human rights perspective.
